The growth rate of the Russian economy has already reached the board-like level of 2019, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during a speech in the State Duma.
"We have reached a situation comparable to 2019 in terms of GDP growth, and, of course, we really want to go further," he said. According to Rosstat, the decline in Russian GDP in the fourth quarter of 2020 slowed to 1.8% in annual terms after a decline of 3.5% in the third quarter. At the end of last year, the decline in Russia's GDP was 3%.
