On April 22, 2022, a meeting was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation D.V. Manturov on topical issues of the bearing industry with a demonstration of the products of Russian bearing industry enterprises at the State Research Center of FSUE TsNIIchermet named after I.P. Bardin.
Opening the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia noted that the bearing industry is of strategic importance: none of the manufacturing industries can do without its products.
Representatives of the bearing industry discussed with government representatives the increase in the supply of bearings to customers in the domestic market for intensive import substitution.
Special attention was paid at the meeting to state measures to support the industry. Among the key tools in demand are subsidizing the costs of R&D, preferential loans from the Industrial Development Fund and special investment contracts.
