The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The additive technologies industry has a high science intensity and perspective, and has shown positive dynamics over the past 10 years. Thus, in 2020, the volume of the Russian market of additive technologies amounted to 3,560 million rubles.

The main goals of the industry development are to increase the volume of domestic production of competitive additive equipment and materials based on Russian solutions and increase its exports. It is worth noting that the development of additive technologies will help in the development of related industries. Thus, the main consumers of equipment are the segments of aircraft construction, nuclear industry, medicine, defense industry, etc. The strategy assumes the growth of the market of additive technologies by 2030 by more than 3 times, and the production volume of Russian companies should increase by more than 7 times.

It is planned to achieve this goal through the scientific and technical development of the industry, providing the material and technical base, developing and improving national industry standards, building a system for training production, engineering and service personnel. These measures should lead to long-term growth of the industry with an average rate of at least 14% per year.
