5 April 2021 The government will allocate one billion rubles to co-finance innovative projects selected by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on a competitive basis. The funds will be allocated to 25 regions and will help accelerate the modernization and development of enterprises.

"The government will continue to support innovative projects in the industrial sector," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a cabinet meeting. "These are our strategic investments in the future, which give an impetus to the socio-economic development of the regions, form points of growth, create jobs and contribute to increasing people's incomes."
