Russian LCV market grew by almost 4% in October
According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", in October 2016 the sales of new light commercial vehicles (LCV) in Russia amounted to 8835 units, that is 3.8% more than last year. Thus, five months after the fall it again demonstrates the growth.
LCV market leader in Russia is traditionally brand GAZ whose share in October accounted for over 45% of the market. It is approximately 4,1 thousand units, 7% more than a year ago. In the second place is another domestic manufacturer UAZ whose figure exceeded 1,6 thousand cars (+1,8%). Russian LADA is the third one in the list (1,1 thousand units, +64,2%). The top five also includes German Mercedes-Benz (582 units, -38,2%) and American Ford (500 units, +61,8%).
Note also that in ten months of 2016 the market of new LCV in Russia amounted to slightly more than 71 thousand units. It’s 6.1% lower than in the same period of 2015. More information is in a special press-release.
